Replace Kitchen and Dining Facility, Ishi Conservation Camp

Overview

This multi-phased project consisted of the design of a new self-contained kitchen and dining facility that features cooking equipment, dishwashing, dry storage, walk-in coolers and freezers, and a dining room. Site improvements were made to connect the new building with existing site infrastructure.

Project Headline

  • A 180,000-gallon water storage tank was constructed to provided fire suppression to the new kitchen.
  • Utility planning was coordinated with PG&E
  • The California Environmental Quality Act requirements were coordinated with the lead agency (State of California).
